Accessibility Statement

Frank Bernard Concrete Finishing, Inc. wants this website to be usable by everyone, including people who browse with a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification or reduced motion.

What we have done

This site is built as plain HTML with semantic headings and landmarks. It includes a skip link to the main content, visible keyboard focus outlines, descriptive alternative text on images, labelled form fields, text that reflows without horizontal scrolling on small screens, and colour combinations chosen for contrast against their backgrounds. Video content is not set to autoplay with sound.

Standard we aim for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. We test the site as we build and change it, but we have not had it formally audited or certified, so we describe this as partial conformance.

Video content

The job-site clips on this site have no sound. Because there is no audio, captions would carry nothing; instead each clip has a written description below it explaining what the footage shows, and the same description is attached to the video for screen reader users. The clips never autoplay and each has standard playback controls.

Known limitations

The project planner is a convenience tool rather than a required step. Everything it covers can be handled on the phone instead, and the form on the home page is a text alternative to it. We have not had the site formally audited, so if you meet a barrier we have not anticipated we want to hear about it.
